15th June was the best night of my life because I went for
HILLSONG UNITED 2014!!!

I’ve been listening to Hillsong United since I was much younger in my secondary days and even as young as primary school (but it was Hillsong United) I’ve been loving their songs since then because every song has such a great meaning of the greatness of God and His different qualities. Different songs of theirs have played a great significance in my life! & having to hear them LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME WAS A DREAM COME TRUE!

Went to the most amazing place with my 2 most favourite people, Weifeng & Jiayi. Sang, praised & worshipped God beside them was just too good to be true. Words won’t be enough to describe the atmosphere and that presence.
So here are some photos I managed to take, not gonna post everything because you got to be there to experience it. Hehe

Hearing songs like Stand, With Everything, Hosanna, From The Inside Out, Mighty to Save all live was beyond imagination.
Once the crowd sang, woah you feel that strong presence that’s just beyond amazing.
I was so happy when I heard them play Stand. It’s been the song so significant to me, that has made me stay strong in God and His word. It has always reminded me to stand strong in the storms and keep going, cause God is with me.

Also had additional songs from older albums, Aftermath, Break Free, Go, Freedom is Here, Shout unto God, All I Need is You & more I can’t remember.

They also did the new songs from their album Zion.
Relentless, Up in Arms, Scandal of Grace, Oceans, Stay and Wait, Nothing Like Your Love and Love is War, which is now my new fave. the lyrics is just great:

& after this song, they said how humans are really good at fighting. for our own selfish ways, for the right and wrong reasons, for many things, and even Christians, we are even still fighting for the things that Jesus had already won for us. When I heard that, I was so convicted to lead a different life. We need to live a victorious life in Jesus, not a defeated one. We should fight for love, for the love of God, for the love of others.

After an amazing close to 2 hours concert, they ended with Wake and I WENT CRAZYYYYYYY! SUPER FAVE FROM THEIR YOUNG & FREE ALBUM!!! Throughout the song I was singing my best and jumping in excitement! & how can they forget to close with ALIVE!

My near clubbing moment of the night, but I wasn’t happy in the flesh, but I knew I was full of the joy of the Lord. God has filled me with His joy and it had to overflow and be shown and heard.

Really really blessed to be there to experience it. It’s a ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE for every Christian. They have to be there to know such atmosphere and presence. That’s how we should be with God in or out of concerts. Be that passionate, not on hype, but on a conviction that God is real and true.

& for this dream to come true, all I have is to thank Wf who made it possible for us to get tickets, & of course Jiayi for booking such great seats, though expensive but TOTALLY WORTH MY 100 BUCKS! Thank you Wf for being so loving & generous to me, for making such a dream come true, and to be by your side to sing, praise and worship God is the best sight and feeling to ever have. I wish to do so for the rest of my life. I pray that as days go by, our love for God will never fade. He is always number 1 in everything, every season and area of our lives.

Love you so much Wf. Thank you for being in my life as who you are. Despite us going through new phases in life, I pray God to guide us through and always remember to fix our eyes on Him in times of need.

Okay I’m actually running a little late to meet Wf, here’s a quick update on what’s happening.

After 3 whole months, this is what has happened to me last thursday

I SIGNED MY CONTRACT WITH JP PEPPERDINE TO BE A GRAPHIC DESIGNER!!! WHOOOHOOOO

First time getting a full time job with a reasonable pay, to start supporting myself and to give a little back to help the family.
God has been good, without Him this opportunity would never have been mine to accept. Honestly just very grateful that God is always watching out for me and even since the past and now the present & He will in the future. Really excited to go in workforce, not alone but with God. He is with me, He will give me strength to keep going on.

Okay gotta run, will update more on the past month, soon. I guess. Haha, pretty packed and busy settling stuff in church & for interviews & work coming up. Shopping for all the office wear which is so tiring omg.
